Today is Easter Sunday and our last full day here. We fly to Cochin on Monday lunchtime. We used it to relax, getting up around 8am, and after a leisurely breakfast, spent time in the morning sun around the pool until 11.30am, when we went for a walk up Colaba market. I bought jeans and trainers from the Levis shop, so much cheaper than home at £30 each. Then it was a visit to Gateway to India, erected in 1911 to commemorate the visit to India of King George V and Queen Mary. By then it was time for lunch, around the corner at Indigo Deli, followed by a call at the Gordon House Hotel to book dinner for this evening. All of them old haunts from when Jill lived here. A taxi was then taken back to the hotel where the ladies had booked a 4.15pm pedicure appointment. It's a hard life! The daytime temperature for Cochin tomorrow is forecast at 37 degrees.
